Job Summary

Metro’s Dump Truck Drivers are self starters who are driven by their safety oriented mindsets. They don’t shy away from a challenge and are team oriented as they assist with concrete and other field work when not driving.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate heavy machinery, like the company’s dump truck, in order to haul gravel, dirt, concrete and other materials
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
  • Preform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Secure all loads with proper safety techniques and equipment
  • Must be willing to assist in field work when not driving including but not limited to concrete placement, and concrete finishing
  • Communicate clearly with team and team leaders to ensure safety, best use of time, and in order to stay on schedule
  • Able to work through all weather conditions
  • Operate other heavy machinery on an as needed basis including but not limited to skid steers, mini excavators, etc
  • Ability to travel during the week for work, but will be home on the weekends
  • Must maintain a class A CDL and a clean MVR

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • we are open to training on all equipment
  • Licenses:
    • Must possess obtain and maintain a Class A CDL and a clean MVR
