The Director, Human Resources, will serve as the HR business partner for Global Business Operations Senior Leadership, translating business strategy into HR strategy, plans and solutions. As part of the Business Operations Leadership Team, he/she will partner with leaders to hire, engage, and develop talent to build the organizational capabilities required for short and long-term success. This leader also plays a key role in developing the HR function by evolving the company’s talent and integration capabilities by enabling a One HR team approach to drive standardization and HR operational efficiencies. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Implement HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to business/function objectives.
  • Support organizational design, change management, and talent strategies in a fast-paced, growing operations environment.
  • Lead HR initiatives and annual HR processes for assigned client group (talent reviews and succession planning, performance management process), within a global matrix organization.
  • Develop robust talent management plans and drives initiatives by partnering with managers to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor HR professional direct reports on all core HR services delivered. Understands and communicates key performance indicators, the team is responsible for delivering.
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement, inclusion, and accountability that supports operational excellence.
  • Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, disciplinary action and/or terminations in line with company policies and legal practices.
  • Champion a One Team approach by collaborating with Internal Communications, Total Rewards, Talent, and Human Resources Business Partners to drive continuous improvement of our colleague experience and improve our employee value proposition.
  • Hire, train, and develop HR capabilities to more effectively onboard colleagues newly acquired through M&A.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous HR experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12+ years’ experience).
  • Minimum of five years of human resource management experience required.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Masters preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
