Coordinator I – Prior Auth & Appeals (Healthcare Data Entry)

Position Type: Remote | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8-Hour Shifts (Between 8 AM – 8 PM CT)
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT (2 Weeks)
Start Date: October 26, 2025

Pay: $16.00

Role Overview

We are seeking 20 Coordinators (anticipating 30 offers to account for attrition) to perform non-clinical activities in accordance with policies, procedures, and compliance standards (ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific requirements). This role requires strong data entry skills, healthcare experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, enter, and maintain healthcare data accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific regulations.

  • Work closely with the Clinical Supervisor and team to meet business objectives.

  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Support audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience:

    • 6 months–1 year of data entry experience.

    • At least 1 year in the healthcare industry (e.g., hospital, managed care, PBM, physician office).

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (screenshot of assessment required).

    • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Typing speed of 30+ WPM (screenshot of typing test required).

  • Work Environment:

    • Private home office with a door, free from distractions.

    • Hardwired internet connection (no Wi-Fi) – internet speed test screenshot required.

    • Must be willing to appear on camera when requested.
