Nurse Manager – Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
Dallas, TX
Full-Time • Day Shift (No Weekends)

Compensation & Scope

• Hourly Rate: $56.74 – $85.11 (based on experience)
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
• Unit Size: 33-bed Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Leadership Scope: Oversight of ~45 FTEs
• Accountability: 24-hour responsibility for unit operations and performance

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a large tertiary care hospital. This leadership role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and staff development while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced rehab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure adherence to established nursing standards and best practices
• Team Management: Lead hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and staff development
• Collaboration: Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Operational Oversight: Support budgeting, financial planning, and performance improvement initiatives
• Staff Development: Facilitate training, staff meetings, and ongoing educational programs

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 3–5 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience required
  • 3–5 years of leadership/management experience or demonstrated leadership progression
• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Licensure:
  • Active RN license (State of Texas or Compact State)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
  • ACLS required within 12 months of hire
  • CRRN preferred (required within 3 years)
  • FIM Certification (UDSMR) required within 60 days of hire
