Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a high-volume surgical services department. This role is critical in ensuring proper sterilization, decontamination, and instrument readiness to support surgical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments

Assemble and prepare instrument trays and surgical sets

Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards

Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of instruments

Collaborate with OR staff to ensure timely case readiness
Requirements (MUST HAVE)

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of Sterile Processing experience (REQUIRED)

Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted

Certifications:
-
BLS (Required)
-
CRST or CBSPD (REQUIRED)

Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing program

Shift Options:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Schedule Cycle: 6 weeks

Weekend Call: 1 full weekend every 7-8 weeks

Holidays: May be required if falling on scheduled weekend
