Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: June 16, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required. Orientation shifts will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for approximately the first two weeks. Optional call opportunities available Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 10:00 PM and weekends 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM with 60-minute response time.

Highlights:

  • Work at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, and PET/CT (non-diagnostic) imaging
  • Handle 5-10 patients daily with up to 15 PET scans per day
  • Outpatient center environment with no weekend or holiday coverage requirements
  • Comprehensive orientation provided, including on-site PET scan training
  • Free parking and Epic charting system

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Valid California state Nuclear Medicine license (must be in hand prior to start)
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification current and valid
  • Previous travel healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • PET scan experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate on-site
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred, especially if interested in optional call shifts
  • LA fire card required within the last 30 days
  • Proficiency with starting and maintaining IVs, EKGs, and PACS systems
