We are seeking a passionate, engaging, and dedicated 4th Grade General Education Teacher to join our exceptional faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Summary

The 4th Grade Teacher will create a positive, student-centered classroom that inspires a love of learning while delivering rigorous instruction aligned with grade-level standards. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, flexible, and committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons in:
    • Reading
    • Writing
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Social Studies
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with families.
  • Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and fellow teachers.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Integrate technology into instruction when appropriate.
  • Uphold the mission and values of Chaya Mushka Chabad Academy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education (required).
  • Georgia Teaching Certification (required).
  • Previous elementary teaching experience (required).
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Passion for helping children succeed academically and personally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching upper elementary grades.
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching practices.
  • Experience in a private or faith-based school setting is a plus, but not required.

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM
