Job DescriptionAs a Production Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our bird food manufacturing operations. You’ll work on a team to assemble products, maintain production flow, and meet tight schedules—all while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.Responsibilities
- Assemble bird feeders and bird houses using jigs and hand tools
- Operate pneumatic staple guns, screwdrivers, and various machinery
- Drill holes and perform basic woodworking tasks
- Inspect parts for quality throughout the assembly process
- Minimize waste, time, and material usage
- Cut wood to spec using a banded saw and replace dull saw blades as needed
- Read and work with fractions and decimals
- Obtain and operate a forklift safely (license training provided)
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain alertness and work in a safe manner at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stack boards consistently
- Able to stand for long hours and work at a steady pace
- Team-oriented with strong work ethic
- Willing to work overtime as needed
