We are seeking skilled Overhead Crane Operators to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating large industrial overhead cranes to transport materials efficiently and safely. You will be required to perform rigging tasks and ensure that all materials are securely strapped, working in coordination with a spotter for assistance. Additionally, you may be tasked with using forklifts for material transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate large industrial overhead cranes to transport materials.
- Rig and strap materials securely for transport.
- Work with a spotter to ensure safe operations.
- Utilize forklifts to assist with material transportation.
- Perform rigging and hand signaling.
- Use remote control for overhead crane operations.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes.
- Proficiency in rigging and hand signaling.
- Experience using remote control for crane operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with forklifts is a significant advantage.

Work Environment
Work in a large industrial shop with approximately 50 team members. The environment is both challenging and supportive, providing ample opportunity for professional growth. The role is on a 1st shift schedule from 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77041.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
