Position Overview and Qualifications
This role involves providing leadership that promotes the comfort and well-being of patients in both facility and home environments. You will apply the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. You will also carry out medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications Required:
- Essential Education: Completion of an accredited RN program
- Preferred Education: Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical institution
- Mandatory License: Current registered nurse licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; compact license may apply, and verification with NCBON is required; BCLS certification
- Preferred License: National certification in a relevant specialty
- Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a facility or home care setting
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
