We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support day-to-day HR operations for a manufacturing environment in Wrentham, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position focused on payroll administration, employee lifecycle support, compliance documentation, and coordination of key HR programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of benefits, leave administration, talent acquisition, and HR reporting while partnering with leadership to help maintain workforce effectiveness and operational performance.


Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll processing through Paycom with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

• Oversee core human resources operations, including employee records management, policy administration, and support for daily workforce matters.

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring required documentation, reporting, and communication are completed efficiently.

• Maintain and organize training documentation, including logs and related records, to support compliance and workforce development efforts.

• Partner with operational leaders to track and support manufacturing performance indicators that connect workforce activities with business goals.

• Administer employee benefits processes and provide guidance to staff on enrollment, changes, and related HR procedures.

• Support leave management activities, including FMLA administration, documentation review, and communication with employees and managers.

• Assist with talent acquisition efforts by coordinating recruiting activities, candidate movement, and hiring process steps.

• Proven experience in human resources management, including HR administration in a fast-paced business environment.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll using Paycom or a similar HRIS/payroll platform.
• Working knowledge of employee benefits administration and applicable HR compliance requirements.
• Experience managing leave of absence cases, including FMLA processes and documentation.
• Ability to support recruiting and hiring activities from requisition coordination through onboarding.
• Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining accurate records, reports, and training documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across leadership teams and employee groups.
