Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and Epic charting experience for a varied-shift position with floating and on-call requirements.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Level IV trauma hospital with acute care, long-term care, and outpatient settings
- Primary assignment in CT, with floating to X-ray and potential coverage at nearby affiliated hospitals
- Patient population includes both acute and long-term care cases
- Uses Epic EMR; prior experience required
- Shifts are 4x10s, with specific times determined closer to start; both day (7:00–17:30) and night (17:00–3:30) shifts available
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Traveler must be willing to float within the hospital and to nearby facilities as needed
- Daily duties include performing CT scans and covering X-ray as needed
- Position involves weekend call and expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year
- First-time travelers are accepted and encouraged to apply
- Housing (single-occupancy, no pets) and a vehicle are provided for traveler use only during the assignment
- Housing and vehicle are available up to 72 hours before and 24 hours after the contract
- Traveler is responsible for cleaning before departing housing or returning vehicle
- Vehicle is for use within 30 miles of the facility and must not be taken off-road
- Scrub color is any or business casual
- Must be willing to float between hospital departments and affiliate hospitals as needed
- Return staff must have a 3-month separation to be eligible; travelers may work a maximum of 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returning
- RTO is considered based on request but is limited; all time off requests must be discussed prior to assignment
- Facility only accepts Hep B vaccines and special vaccination policy applies

- Current ARRT CT certification required
- BLS certification is required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- State license required if applicable; pending license not accepted
- Minimum of 0 years’ experience accepted; new graduates welcome
- Must be able to float to X-ray within scope of practice
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
- Must provide two supervisory references within the last three years in a comparable setting
- Must provide valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for vehicle usage
- Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers or declinations not accepted
