Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a part-time Staff Pharmacist to work primarily first shift in a supportive team environment. This role is based in Rathdrum, ID, and offers a 13-week contract with potential to convert to full-time permanent status.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; if working Saturday, Thursday or Friday can be taken off
Team & Setting:
- Collaborative team of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
- Pharmacy system: Pioneer
- Dispense volume of approximately 300 to 400 prescriptions daily
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescription accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide patient counseling with a focus on customer service excellence
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and workflow efficiency
- Demonstrate teamwork and communication skills within a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid, active Idaho pharmacist license
- Prior pharmacy experience in retail setting preferred
- Ability to maintain clear, organized documentation including updated resume, skills checklist, and references
