Dietary Aide – Part-Time
As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in providing our residents with a positive dining experience while supporting the daily operations of our Dietary Services team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with meal and snack preparation

Serve meals and assist residents during meal service as needed
-
Assist cooks with meal preparation and other dietary tasks
-
Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
-
Work in the dish room and maintain clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
-
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas
-
Properly store food and supplies according to facility guidelines
-
Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and safety guidelines
-
Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
-
Assist the Dietary Services team with additional duties as needed

Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compassionate, patient, and respectful when working with residents

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
-
Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred

Commitment to providing excellent service to our residents
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Previous experience in dietary services, food service, healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care is a plus
-
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
