Project Manager
Anderson, SC & Westerville, OH
12+ Months contract strong likelihood of a 12-month extension.
(Travel Project Managers can also be considered)
General Information:
- Total: 6 openings (3 per location)
- Project Type: New Build Data Centers
- Nature of Work: Large-scale construction projects ($500K–$50M) involving full project lifecycle management
- Degree: Required
- Interview Process: 2 rounds (In-person & Virtual) final selection after 2nd round
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of Project Management experience
- Must have experience with construction companies / data center projects / General Contracting companies
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project scopes, and lifecycle
- Capable of managing million-dollar projects with core PMI skills
- Excellent time management, communication, and customer relationship skills
- Ability to handle end-to-end project delivery including:
- Change orders
- Commissioning and scheduling
- Product delivery and tracking
- Customer meetings and reporting
Tools / Systems:
- Anderson, SC: IFS experience preferred (especially for switchgear and pre-delivery tracking)
- Westerville, OH: Oracle experience preferred
Location-Specific Details:
Anderson, SC:
- Not a site-based PM — more focused on back-end processes
- Responsible for submittal process, tracking deliveries & shipments, and pre-delivery aspects of switchgear
- Must be able to switch gears quickly and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Westerville, OH:
- Onsite PM role for construction-focused data center project
- Must manage full project execution and coordination
- Strong experience in Oracle tools and field operations
Top 3 Skills:
- 3+ years of Project Management experience (Construction/Data Center domain)
- Comfortable working with onsite technical teams, commissioning schedules, issue resolution, and customer-facing meetings.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end construction projects
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and customer-facing skills
Do not want:
- Candidates who do not have real PM experience (i.e., were not the accountable PM).
- Candidates who require training to perform as the PM; client wants someone who can step in and take command immediately.
