Job DescriptionWe are looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join our dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, while contributing to the overall efficiency of our real estate operations. Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage tenant payments, including remote deposits for multiple accounts.
• Handle lease administration tasks, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
• Update and maintain vendor profiles to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Distribute and process daily correspondence related to financial operations.
• Monitor and respond to after-hours calls regarding financial inquiries.
• Process invoices and payments across multiple entities within the organization.
• Utilize property accounting software, such as Skyline or Yardi, to streamline financial processes.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure seamless financial workflows and reporting.
• Support collections efforts by addressing outstanding balances and communicating with tenants.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with property accounting software, such as Skyline, Yardi, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, billing, and invoice processing.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple accounts and entities with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage financial documentation.
• Background in using finance tools like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
