DESCRIPTION

White Parker is seeking a highly skilled and experienced public heath program analyst/consultant to provide strategic, programmatic, evaluation, and research support for public health programs aimed at adolescent health and family planning programs. The successful candidate is one who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environment, is executive-facing, and is a superior problem-solver.

Prior experience working with adolescent health, family planning, and/or Title X-related programs; ensuring compliance with grant programs, along with superior oral and written communication skills is a must.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical assistance ensuring compliance and enhancing the impact of grantees across several public health programs involving adolescent health, family planning, and Title X programs.
  • Analyze data on the performance and impact of programs.
  • Report on performance data, identifying areas of improvements.
  • Develop and conduct trainings for grantees and program review experts.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage program review compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborating with program experts.
  • Developing and conducting data analysis and innovative approaches for data visualization and reporting.
  • Conducting quality reviews on compliance reports ensuring completeness, quality, and accuracy.
  • Conducting quality improvement plans and actions based on feedback from grantees and program experts.
  • Developing key performance indicators (KPIs), measuring, and reporting on the KPIs.
  • Collecting in-depth information on program funded grantees/recipients to include implementation, successes, and challenges.
  • Developing summary reports and conducting briefings to leadership.
  • Coordinating, developing, writing, and advising communications to a variety of stakeholders both within and external to the organization.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Providing advisory and decision-making support through data-driven analysis and recommendations.
  • Preparing and delivering executive-level presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint as well as reviewing/editing others’ draft presentation slides.
  • Developing, managing, and driving action items, prioritizing and escalating as needed.
  • Developing, reviewing, and/or coordinating work plans and integrated project schedules.
  • Managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Managing unexpected high-priority situations effectively and efficiently.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • U.S. Citizens in the Metropolitan DC, Maryland, & Virginia Area Only.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in public health policy, health-related grants management/administration, and/or public health program analysis.
  • Experience in Title X, adolescent health, and/or family health public health programs.
  • Program performance and evaluation experience to include KPIs and metrics.
  • Data analysis and visualization experience.
  • Exceptional project/task management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and business writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship development, and people skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in both a virtual and in-person environment.
  • Self-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, organized, quality-focused, and team player.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

DESIRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED) POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Leading or conducting compliance reviews of grantees/program-funded recipients.
  • Published articles or academic journal publication citations.
