About the Role:Join FIRST FENCE US as a Sales Manager and lead our dynamic sales team in Kennedale, TX.
The fence industry is a strong, essential segment of the building products sector, set for dependable long-term growth. We're not just waiting for that growth—we're actively driving it with a dynamic, forward-thinking team.
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the inside sales team. This role involves managing inside sales associates, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the team meets team sales goals as well as individual goals. The SM will also provide training and mentoring to new sales members to ensure a seamless and consistent sales process as well as outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create impactful promotional materials.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct formal performance reviews.
  • Identify training gaps and implement targeted development plans to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
    Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the sales team's performance against key organizational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide detailed sales performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle and processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness from lead generation through closing.
  • Execute all Human Resources (HR) processes and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, including managing investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and ongoing performance management.
  • Maintain market awareness by staying current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Executive Management regarding market opportunities and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or fencing industry with a record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • 1–3 years experience of inside sales, account management, or customer success experience.
  • Experience in B2B sales or business development is a plus.
  • Strong skills in using technology and accurate reporting to manage customers, sales cycles, and forecasts (Salesforce preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling inside sales teams in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop talent.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of modern sales tools, technology, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
