AVP Electronic Banking
Institution for Savings is seeking an Electronic Banking Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of the Bank’s electronic banking products and services for both consumer and business customers. This role focuses on ensuring electronic banking systems operate securely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting ongoing product enhancements and operational needs. This is an in-person position in our Newburyport office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of electronic banking products and services for consumer and business customers, including but not limited to online banking, mobile banking, cash management, remote deposit capture, bill pay, and telephone banking.
- Balance operational needs with ongoing product oversight to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system updates, enhancements, and releases with attention to security, functionality, and operational impact.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to test, implement, and support electronic banking product enhancements.
- Maintain procedures, documentation, and controls related to electronic banking operations.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to internal teams regarding electronic banking products and functionality.
- Identify operational risks, improvement opportunities, and emerging needs and communicate observations to management.
- Support customer service efforts related to electronic banking products, including assisting with complex issues, escalations, or inquiries as needed.
- Support strategic electronic banking product initiatives and projects as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to support other functions within Retail Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience in electronic banking and deposit operations.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand system functionality, product dependencies and how digital banking solutions integrate across platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Bank departments
- Working knowledge of security, risk and compliance considerations related to electronic banking services.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to operational details.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
