You have a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach that ensures our patrons have a great time at the bar. You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, assisting with food preparation and serving, assisting with hotel guests, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Compensation:
$18 - $20 hourly plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
- Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system
- Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
- Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Assist the kitchen team with any necessary food prep and serving
- Assist the Hotel's Guest Services team in standard operations of the hotel
- Assist with building a creative, fun, and innovative cocktail menu
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
- We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
