  • Registered Nurse position in Labor & Delivery specialty at Los Alamos Medical Center.
  • Facility is a 47-bed acute care facility with 300 healthcare employees.
  • Major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico.
  • Role involves working in OB/GYN unit with 4 labor rooms and 4 postpartum rooms.
  • Patient population includes childbearing aged women and newborns.
  • Must have previous Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience.
  • Patient ratios: 2-1:1 LDRP, 3 couplets:1 Post Partum.
  • EHR systems used: OBIX, Medhost, GUI.
  • Focus on patient experience, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have certifications required to work as a Labor & Delivery nurse in New Mexico.
  • Must have 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum.
  • Must be certified/licensed to work as L&D nurse in New Mexico.
  • Must have skills and experience in LDRP/PP.

    Additional Details
  • Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
  • Travel candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered.
  • All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that check is being processed.
  • Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised.
