Job Title: Assistant Service Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Service Manager supports the Service Manager in overseeing daily service operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and achievement of departmental goals. This role assists with team leadership, scheduling, customer concerns, quality control, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Service Manager with daily department operations.
Supervise, coach, and support service staff.
Monitor customer service standards and resolve customer concerns.
Coordinate schedules, workloads, and staff assignments.
Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Monitor department performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Assist with inventory, supplies, and equipment management.
Maintain company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
Review reports, invoices, and other operational documentation.
Train new employees and support ongoing staff development.
Step in for the Service Manager when needed.
Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and other departments.
Identify operational issues and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
Previous customer service, service operations, or supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers and standard business software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Attend all required safety meetings. Complete all assigned safety training and assignments, as required on time. Report immediately, any unsafe condition that you may observe to your supervisor. Wear proper clothing and safety equipment as prescribed in employee manual, and Personal Protective Equipment Policy. Become safety conscious, think and live safely each day.

It is your responsibility to make sure all employees comply with all written safety policies and are working safely with the proper equipment. It is also your responsibility to investigate any accidents in your area and report all accidents immediately.
