Role specifics and benefits:
- Position overview: Provide comprehensive respiratory care as a traveling Registered Respiratory Therapist, working with adult and, when assigned, pediatric populations. Responsibilities include ventilator management and weaning, airway clearance therapy, bronchodilator delivery, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas collection and interpretation, and documentation in patient records. You’ll participate in patient rounds with the multidisciplinary team, adjust therapies based on evolving clinical status, and contribute to care plans that optimize oxygenation and ventilation.
- Professional growth: This assignment emphasizes ongoing professional development within the specialty. You’ll collaborate with seasoned clinicians, engage in evidence-based practice, and gain exposure to a variety of acute care and post-acute settings. Opportunities to expand scope, cross-train in related specialties, and develop leadership or educator roles may be available through extensions or subsequent placements.
- Compensation and incentives: Competitive weekly pay ranging from $2,197 to $2,371, commensurate with experience and site requirements. This role offers a signing or completion bonus where applicable, plus comprehensive housing assistance to reduce living costs while you travel. Extension opportunities are available, allowing you to continue advancing within our program if you and the facility’s needs align.
- Scheduling and guarantees: Start Date: 01/29/2026. Duration: Weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 0.0. While hours are not guaranteed, you can expect a predictable, market-competitive schedule designed to align with patient needs and facility demand, with support to optimize shift coverage and minimize downtime.
- Support and resources: You won’t travel alone. A dedicated 24/7 support team is available to assist you on the road, handle logistics, coordinate housing, and resolve any clinical or operational challenges that arise during travel.
