Are you the person everyone turns to when things get chaotic? The one who can juggle seventeen different things while making it look effortless? The natural problem-solver who somehow always knows exactly what needs to happen next?
We see you. And we've been hoping you'd find us.
Pet and Home Care has been part of this community since 1999, and we're looking for someone special to join our family. Not just someone who can do a job, but someone who gets it. Someone who understands that behind every phone call is a pet parent who loves their furry family member like you love yours. Someone who knows that the little details matter because you've been managing all the little details that make life work.
This role? It's made for someone like you.
You know that feeling when everything just clicks? When you're in your element, making things happen, taking care of everyone around you? That's what this job feels like. You'll be the heartbeat of our in-home care team – the one who makes sure every precious pup and beloved kitty gets exactly the love and attention they deserve when their families can't be there.
Here's what your days will look like:
Being the Voice of Comfort You'll talk with worried pet parents, answer their questions, and put their minds at ease. You know that tone – the one that says "I've got this, and your baby is going to be just fine." You'll schedule their visits, coordinate their care, and be their go-to person when they need reassurance.
Orchestrating the Magic Remember how you used to coordinate playdates, doctor appointments, school pickups, and somehow still managed to have dinner ready? This is that, but with the best team of pet sitters you'll ever meet. You'll make sure everyone's where they need to be, when they need to be there, with everything they need to give these animals the love they deserve.
Creating the Kind of Workplace You'd Want to Be Part Of You'll support our amazing sitters, celebrate their wins, help them through challenges, and create the kind of team culture where everyone feels valued and appreciated. Because you know what it's like to need support, and you know how much it means when someone has your back.
You're perfect for this if you:
-
Have that natural ability to make people feel heard and cared for
-
Can keep track of a million moving pieces without breaking a sweat
-
Love solving problems and making things work better
-
Have a warm heart for animals and the people who love them
-
Know how to communicate with kindness, even when things get stressful
What you bring to the table:
-
A few years of experience juggling multiple responsibilities (trust us, you have this!)
-
The ability to communicate clearly and warmly, both in writing and on the phone
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems
-
Knowledge of our local Frederick and Montgomery County communities
Here's what we offer you:
-
Paid time off because rest matters
-
401(k) with company match because your future matters
-
Discounted pet care services because your furry family matters too
-
A team that truly appreciates what you bring
-
The chance to make a real difference in people's lives every single day
