Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Virginia
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in diverse populations
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students
- Implement interventions to support students' mental health and learning
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive school environment
- Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
