Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Tutor, located in Irvine, CA. The Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering personalized learning sessions, assessing student progress, preparing educational materials, and providing feedback to students to help them improve their academic skills. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with parents and teachers to support the student's learning needs and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications
- Expertise in specific subject areas and strong teaching skills
- Experience with student assessment and creating educational material
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple students and sessions
- Bachelor's degree or studying in college in education, a specific subject, or a related field
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus
