A New Jersey health services network is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a promising opportunity with their growing staff.
About the Opportunity:
<ul>
<li>Schedule: Monday to Friday</li>
<li>Hours: 9am to 5pm </li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including regular check-ups, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, conducting ultrasounds, and performing necessary prenatal tests</li>
<li>Assist and support women during labor and childbirth</li>
<li>Provide care by monitoring the mother's recovery, assessing the newborn's health, and addressing any postpartum concerns</li>
<li>Offer routine gynecological care, including annual exams, Pap smears, screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and contraceptive counseling</li>
<li>Provide education and counseling on family planning methods, birth control options, and fertility awareness</li>
<li>Offer care and support to women during the menopausal transition, addressing symptoms such as hot flashes, mood changes, and hormonal fluctuations</li>
<li>Provide emotional support and counseling throughout the prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum periods</li>
<li>Perform other duties, as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree</li>
<li>NJS Certified Nurse Midwife</li>
</ul>
