Job DescriptionA small dynamic Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineering firm with headquarters in the lower Nob Hill area in San Francisco and offices in Oakland and in Los Angeles is looking for dynamic and self motivated engineers and designers for the following positions. Our clients range from public agencies at local, state and government levels as well as private sectors. Type of projects include but not limited to educational facilities(K-12, colleges and universities),residential multi family, industrial, transportation, hotel, high rise building, etc. Plumbing/FP Engineer- This position requires minimum of 5 years plumbing design for variety of different types of projects as stated above. The person shall be well versed with the latest California and local plumbing codes and NFPA codes. He/she should be capable of plumbing calculations, design layout and writing specification, attending meetings with clients and site investigation. A bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and working with Auto CAD is a plus. HVAC Designer-This position requires minimum of 7 years experience for variety of different types HVAC systems for airside and waterside, write specifications, attend client meetings, perform site investigation, building surveys and be well versed with California and local mechanical codes and title 24 Energy calculation. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must. Working with AutoCAD and knowledge of sustainability design is a plus. HVAC Engineer-This position requires minimum f 10 years experience. The person shall have all the expertise that is listed above under HVAC designer. In addition, he/she shall be able to act as project engineer and be able to complete the project from beginning to the end with minimum or no supervision. Have strong knowledge of LEED /sustainability designs, energy efficiency and management as well as sequence of operations and control system for both wet and dry side. PE license and LEED accreditation are pluses Our company provides competitive compensation based on experience.
