Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in at least two of the following: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is based in a short-term acute care setting with 180 beds
- Primary assignment is in the Cath Lab with requirements to float to Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro as needed within specialty
- Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac, vascular, or neuro interventional procedures
- Use of Epic EMR is required
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call is required on an as-needed basis
- Floating may be required to sister facilities within 20 miles
- Ceil blue scrubs are required
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting with cardiac and neuro interventional cases and procedures in at least two modalities
- Must complete assigned time-sensitive training modules prior to starting the assignment
- First-time travelers are accepted
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; additional requests may not be approved
- Annual compliance modules required for yearlong assignments
- Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic locations for at least one year from previous end date
- Nicotine policy applies to all travelers except nurses and CSTs
- Free parking is available for travelers
\n \n Requirements\n
- Minimum of 18 months of specialty experience in at least two of the following: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
- Current BLS and ACLS from AHA required
- Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) and RCIS certification preferred
- Permanent state or compact license required at time of consideration
- Must be nicotine free with a negative 10-panel and cotinine drug screen
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty required
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- License required if applicable
