Staff Pharmacist Mail Order (Non-Traditional) | Temp-to-Hire
Location: Chula Vista, CA 91913
Duration: Full-time | 13+ weeks, potential for permanent hire
Schedule: Pharmacy operates daily from 8:00 AM 8:00 PM. Some evenings may extend to ensure all orders are fulfilled.

A specialized mail-order pharmacy in Chula Vista is actively seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week temp-to-perm basis. This is not your standard pharmacy rolethis facility focuses exclusively on diabetic medical devices such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. While order volume is modest (approx. 20/day), each order requires care and attention during the packaging and fulfillment process.

Facility Snapshot:

• Focus: Diabetic care products (no medication dispensing)

• Staff: 3 Pharmacists, 5 Technicians, 1 Clerk, 1 Driver

• Supportive work environment with full team collaboration

• Technology: Brightree system

Position Highlights:

• Verify and approve outgoing shipments of medical devices

• Oversee order fulfillment of boxed items accuracy is key

• Work collaboratively with techs; youll always have support on-site

• Contribute to a small, efficient team that prioritizes patient care and attention to detail

Ideal Background:

• Active CA Pharmacist License in good standing (required)

• Multi-state licensure a plus

• Experience in retail or mail order environments strongly preferred

• Strong communication skills and a team-first approach

• Willingness to work in a hands-on, process-driven environment
