AVO Multimedia Services is hiring a full-time Videographer / Video Editor with 5–10 years of professional experience. This role supports ongoing client work across corporate, nonprofit, higher-ed, and community/event production. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be available for some weekend work as needed.
Compensation is based on experience.
Responsibilities
· Film interviews, events, b-roll, and promotional content (tripod/handheld/run-and-gun).
· Set up and manage audio and lighting (lavaliers, on-camera/field mics, booms, basic interview lighting).
· Edit short- and long-form videos for broadcast, live events, web, and social media.
· Sync/mix audio, perform basic color correction/grading, and maintain consistent standards.
· Create deliverables including lower thirds, titles, simple motion elements, captions (as needed).
· Manage media organization, file naming, backups, and revisions.
· Collaborate with producers/clients and meet deadlines.
Requirements
· 5–10 years of professional videography and 5-10 years of professional editing experience.
· Strong proficiency with Final Cut Pro (Adobe Premiere Pro acceptable during transition).
· Experience with motion graphics and titles.
· Solid fundamentals in camera operation, lighting, and clean audio capture.
· Flexible schedule required (to support client timelines and production needs).
· Ability to work some weekends for event coverage and editing.
· Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
· Strong communication and time management skills.
· Portfolio links required (shooting + editing).
Preferred (Nice to Have)
· Multi-camera event coverage.
· Social-first vertical content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) and platform-specific exports.
· Experience using relevant forms of AI.
