Hospice Aide (CNA) – Now Hiring
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our care team. In this role, you will provide personal care services to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. As a key member of the clinical team, you will support patients and families during one of the most meaningful times in their lives—delivering comfort, dignity, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising RN
- Provide emotional support to patients and families with empathy and professionalism
- Uphold patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Dependability, discretion, and professionalism
Education & Experience
- Current CNA certification (required)
- 1+ year of experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care preferred
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
