Role Description
This is a full-time/part -time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian, located in Norwalk, CT. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions, providing preventive care, performing surgeries, and handling dental procedures. Training and mentorship is provided for new grads. Additional responsibilities include consulting with pet owners on health and nutrition plans for their pets, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills, with experience in performing a range of procedures
- Knowledge of preventive care and nutrition for pets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with pet owners and team members
- Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- State veterinary license in good standing or ability to obtain licensure in Connecticut
- Current CSP and DEA
