Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in La Porte, Indiana. This full contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services throughout the complete school year (CSY), helping students improve communication skills critical for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and educational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement effective interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all school policies and state regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as a School-Based SLP.
  • Experience working within public or private K-12 school environments.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic approaches suitable for children.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for fostering student growth.

Location:

  • Position is based in La Porte, Indiana, servicing students across grades K-12.
