🌟 Ultrasound Tech – Bangor, ME | $2,556 Gross Weekly 🌟\n\n📅 Start Date: 01/12/2026\n📆 Duration: 13 Weeks\n👤 Positions: 1\n🏙️ Location: Bangor, ME\n💲 Gross Weekly Pay: $2,556\n\n📋 Job Details\nShift:\nDay Shift | 5x8-Hour Days\nMonday–Friday\n\n🩺 Job Overview\nThe Ultrasound Technologist will operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation. Responsibilities include proper patient positioning, equipment operation, and ensuring accurate imaging of anatomy to support diagnosis and treatment planning.\n\n🧠 Key Responsibilities\nPrepare patients for exams and special ultrasound procedures\nObtain diagnostic-quality images demonstrating requested anatomy\nConsult with Radiologists prior to patient discharge\nProvide ultrasound guidance for physicians during special procedures\nTroubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate when needed\nVerify orders & patient identification using two identifiers\nMaintain proficiency with ultrasound units, probes, and EPIC\nPerform high-level disinfection of endocavity probes\nCorrectly label images, ensure proper viewing planes, and handle PACS entry\nMaintain accurate and confidential patient records\nDemonstrate compassionate interaction with sick or injured patients\n\n📚 Required Competencies\nAbility to produce high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images\nKnowledge of PACS systems\nEPIC documentation knowledge\nCompetence in probe disinfection procedures\nStrong understanding of anatomy and cross-sectional imaging\n\n💼 Mission & Core Values (Covenant Health)\nCompassion – Respect, care, dignity for all\nIntegrity – Ethical behavior and responsible stewardship\nCollaboration – Partnership and shared purpose\nExcellence – High-quality service and innovation
