ITPartners+ is looking for a VP of Finance to help lead our next stage of growth. We are an $18M IT Managed Services Provider scaling through acquisitions, operating across multiple entities, and committed to strong financial discipline and execution.

Who You Are
You are a hands-on VP of Finance who leads from the front. Youre comfortable in the details, owning close, cash, and integration, while also helping guide strategic decisions. Youve operated in a multi-entity environment, understand the pace of M&A, and know how to build structure without slowing momentum. You bring consistency, clarity, and accountability to the finance function.
Travel:Minimal overnight travel may be requested.
Key Working Relationships:
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leadership, Culture, and Accountability (LCA)
Carry our culture. Lead and develop the finance team. Model company values. Establish clear structure and accountability. Own the financial component of the EOS Scorecard and reporting cadence.
2. Financial Structure and Execution
Own and execute GAAP-accurate monthly and annual close across all entities, including reconciliations, audit readiness, and financial accuracy. Establish and maintain standardized accounting practices, intercompany structure, cash alignment, and multi-entity consolidation. Own core financial systems. Oversee and enforce billing accuracy, AR discipline, collections, payroll, and tax compliance to ensure predictable cash flow.
3. Cash, Forecasting, and Planning
Maintain clear visibility into cash across all entities. Own short- and long-range forecasting, annual budgeting, and reforecasting. Provide financial modeling and clear insights to support leadership decision-making.
4. M&A Financial Ownership and Integration
Own financial execution of acquisitions from diligence through close. Lead post-acquisition financial integration, including systems alignment, purchase accounting, intercompany structure, and entity consolidation.
5. Risk and Compliance
Own business insurance strategy and coverage. Manage broker relationships. Ensure appropriate risk mitigation and compliance across all entities, states, and financial requirements.
Core KPIs Owned by this Role:
- Profitability: Monthly and Trailing 12-Month EBITDA
- Financial Accuracy & Close Discipline: Monthly close completed on time and accurate, GAAP-compliant financials, no unresolved balance sheet discrepancies, successful audit with no material issues
- Liquidity & Cash Management: Cash Days on Hand, cash forecast accuracy, clear visibility into cash across all entities
- Accounts Receivable & Billing Discipline: Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), AR over 30 days, billing accuracy and timeliness
- Planning & Forecasting: Budget vs Actual variance, forecast accuracy, adherence to reforecasting cadence
- M&A Execution & Integration: Time to financial integration, first clean close completed post-acquisition, completion of purchase accounting and entity consolidation
- Compliance & Reporting: Zero missed tax filings, payroll, lender reporting, or compliance deadlines, full adherence to financial covenants
- Operational Scalability: Key financial processes documented, reduced key person dependency, finance operations able to scale with growth without breakdowns
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, GAAP, M&A, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with
