Purpose of Position:
The Finished Cooler Lead has primary responsibility for wrapping pallets and placing product into inventory.
Work Schedule: 3:00 am – 7:00 am Monday to Friday and Saturdays as needed

Essential Duties:
- Safely move completed pallets from the track to designated warehouse locations using an electric pallet jack.
- Accurately label and securely wrap pallets in preparation for storage or shipment.
- Organize and rotate inventory according to the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
- Ensure all products are stored on clean, undamaged pallets to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Verify that product labels and codes are correct and meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized finished cooler environment, free of spilled, damaged, or exposed product.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting the trackman associate as needed.
Requirements:
- Completion of general safety and basic food safety training (provided by WEF).
- Training in electric pallet jack and forklift operation (provided by WEF).
- Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Wrap pallets in accordance with Westfield’s quality and safety standards.
- Steel-toed or composite toe shoes required (WEF provides a shoe compensation plan)
- Complete support of and willing adherence to Westfield Egg Farm’s mission, vision, and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English is a must, but bilingual is a plus.
- The ability to interpret documents such as standard operating procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

At times, the Finished Cooler Lead will be privileged to information that should not be shared. The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality in performing their duties, not spreading information to others.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, soaps and/or chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
