Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Neptune, NJ
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift (3x12s) | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 Shifts Per Week
Pay Rate: $54 - $64/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures under physician direction.

  • Perform respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.

  • Assist with intubations and airway management procedures.

  • Set up, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilators.

  • Evaluate patient response to respiratory interventions and adjust treatment as necessary.

  • Perform diagnostic testing and assist in the evaluation of cardiopulmonary conditions.

  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding respiratory diseases, treatments, and equipment.

  • Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Maintain compliance with respiratory care standards, policies, and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

  • Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

  • Current and active New Jersey Respiratory Care License.

  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.

  • BLS (AHA) Certification required.

  • ACLS Certification required.

  • PALS Certification required.

  • Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

  • Weekend coverage required as needed.

  • Holiday coverage required as needed.

  • No on-call requirements.

  • No floating requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Acute care hospital experience preferred.
