Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist at Cornerstone PT, you will provide comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation services grounded in manual therapy and evidence-based practice. You will work one-on-one with patients to evaluate, treat, and progress care plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and meet patients’ personal goals. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Deliver one-on-one care using a hands-on approach, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques and personalization of treatment strategies.

Treat a wide variety of conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, joint dysfunction, spine care, balance/fall prevention, headaches, and pre/post-partum care.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home programs, injury prevention, functional movement, and self-management strategies.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation of evaluations, interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards.

Collaborate with clinic staff to support a cohesive, caring patient experience, contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Uphold the clinic’s values in every patient interaction, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:

MPT or DPT degree from an accredited program.

Active Physical Therapist license in California.

Strong manual therapy skills and clinical reasoning.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
Preferred:

Experience in outpatient orthopedics or similar clinical settings.

Additional certifications in manual therapy or specialty areas (e.g., IPA/functional manual therapy, women’s health).
