We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our multidisciplinary team at a growing outpatient substance use disorder treatment center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role plays a key part in client recovery by supporting stabilization, medication management, and integrated treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental health assessments, and diagnostic interviews for new and existing clients.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management for psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based best practices and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client response, progress, and any side effects.

Collaborate closely with addiction counselors, therapists, case managers, medical staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Educate clients and families about psychiatric conditions, medication adherence, and the recovery process.

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Schedule:
M-F 9:00AM- 5:00PM
