Dynamic Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, working under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to help patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and chronic orthopedic conditions. This role involves hands-on patient care, exercise instruction, and progress documentation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:


  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic and functional activities.
  • Monitor patient responses and communicate progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current, active Physical Therapist Assistant License from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 1+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Experience with post-operative rehab (e.g., ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, total joint replacement).
