Emergency Department RN – Nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Unit Details:

• Unit Type: Emergency Department (ED)
• Beds: 14-bed ED, 6-bed Observation, 5-bed VTA
• Staffing:
  • Nights: 1 CNC, 4 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 Tech/Unit Clerk
• Ratios: 4:1, may extend to 6:1
• Float Requirements: Main campus & freestanding ED
• Scrub Color: Teal

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Administer medications and monitor treatment response
• Utilize clinical judgment to manage rapidly changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with medics, techs, and other nursing staff for quality care

Required Experience & Certifications:

• Required:
  • Active RN License
  • ACLS & PALS (AHA)
  • 1–2 years recent ED experience
  • Meditech experience
• Preferred:
  • TNCC, ENPC
