Salary: $87,755 - $124,000 annually
Bonus: 3% annual bonus

About the Role:
Join a leading behavioral health facility in New Jersey, where you'll play a pivotal role as an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Comprehensive Services Psychiatric Unit. As the Assistant Nurse Manager for evening shifts, you will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, staff coordination, and regulatory compliance. You'll serve as the go-to leader in the absence of senior administrators and help drive safety, staff development, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise psychiatric nursing staff and ensure delivery of high-quality, therapeutic care.
• Lead unit operations during evening shifts, including managing emergencies and staffing.
• Act as liaison with access and admissions teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Monitor safety, resolve conflicts, and manage crisis calls with patients, families, and the public.
• Conduct chart audits, compliance checks, and ensure training and orientation requirements are met.
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to nursing staff.
• Encourage professional development and uphold standards of ethical and culturally sensitive care.

What You'll Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN License (New Jersey)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• A minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience and 1 year in a leadership role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong communication and computer skills

Preferred:

• MSN degree
• Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
• IV Therapy certification

Shift Differentials:

• Weekday Evening: +$4.00/hr
• Weekend Day: +$4.00/hr
• Weekend Evening: +$8.00/hr
• Weekday Night: +$6.00/hr
• Weekend Night: +$10.00/hr
