Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Special Education Teacher position is available within a school setting in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on providing tailored instructional support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student assessments and needs.
  • Adapt general curriculum to accommodate students' abilities and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student growth, behaviors, and challenges, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant educational laws and policies related to special education.
