Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Medford, NY
Pay: $19/hr.
A Customer Service Representative plays a key role in maintaining positive relationships between a company and its customers. This position involves handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information to ensure customer satisfaction. The representative serves as the first point of contact, effectively communicating and assisting customers in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints and determining solutions
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies
- Document customer interactions and transactions in company systems
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments when necessary
- Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude toward customers at all times
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
