Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide physical therapy services for students attending Extended School Year (ESY) programs in a regional day school setting. This contract position focuses on delivering support to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade based on their attendance during ESY sessions.
Location: Jackson, NJ
Duration: July 1, 2026 August 12, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM 12:45 PM (closed on July 6)
Setting: Onsite at a regional day school
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions tailored to student needs within the ESY timeframe
- Collaborate with educational and therapeutic staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Ensure adherence to state and federal guidelines for physical therapy services in schools
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with relevant credentials for school-based practice
- Experience working with school-age populations, preferably PK-12
- Ability to work onsite consistently throughout the contract period
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within an educational environment
