Overview

Duties

• Ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, fixture installation, and construction painting.
• Conduct mold remediation and water damage restoration as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize hand tools for precise cuts and installations.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate construction estimating for upcoming projects.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in workmanship.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and water damage restoration processes is preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment effectively.
• Knowledgeable in electrical work related to carpentry projects is an asset.
• Experience in drywall installation and finishing techniques.
• Strong understanding of construction painting methods and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to estimate project costs accurately.
