Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance personal and team performance.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in practice.

• Assist in the development of community outreach programs to promote services.

• Foster a positive and motivating environment for patients and team members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with valid state license.

• Experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Experience in using performance metrics to assess service delivery.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in occupational therapy.

• Ability to foster a positive environment for patients and team members.

• Experience in community outreach programs to promote therapy services.
