Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and current state license for a Home Health position.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Home health setting serving various counties including Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Joaquin/Stanislaus, and Sacramento
- Patient care primarily focuses on geriatric home health and wound care cases
- Expect to complete a minimum of 23-24 patient visits per week
- No weekend or on-call requirements; discretional on-call may be discussed
- Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- All charting must be completed in clinic using Kinnser/WellSky EMR system
- Territory may include surrounding counties as assigned during interview
- Mileage reimbursed per IRS standard from the first to last patient (excluding travel to/from home)
- Free residential parking provided
- Responsibilities include providing quality patient-centered care and completing visit documentation in clinic on a provided tablet
- Qualities valued include punctuality, being self-motivated, and effective charting skills
- Assigned counties and possible coverage of additional regions will be finalized during interview
- No additional requested time off (RTO) accepted after offer; all RTO must be submitted initially
- Contract lengths range from 4-6 months, with less experienced clinicians required to commit to 6 months
- Team-oriented environment with patient care as the primary focus
- Free residential parking available for clinicians

- Minimum of 1 year recent home health experience and at least 2 years of clinical experience overall
- Valid State PT license required at the time of consideration; pending license not accepted
- BLS certification required
- No previous disciplinary actions on license
- Must submit all required compliance documents prior to start; compliance processing takes 2-3 weeks
- Must be willing and able to wear any color scrubs with closed toe shoes
- COVID-19 vaccination required with religious declination allowed; flu vaccine may be declined with documentation
- Accepts local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius
- First-time travelers will be considered
