A full-time or part-time registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) opportunity is available to support K-12 students within a school district in the Keene, NH area. This contract role spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and extending through June 12, 2026. The position offers flexibility regarding hours and placement, with assignments matched to the candidates skill set and district needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health support services to students across various grade levels (K-12)
- Conduct health screenings, manage individual health plans, and administer medications as required
- Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student wellness and safety
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state nursing regulations
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide necessary first aid or referrals
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license meeting state requirements
- Experience in school nursing preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and educators
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to changing needs within a school environment
- Commitment to student health and confidentiality standards
